Advertising & Measurement Policy
Effective Date: August 5, 2026
Last Updated: August 5, 2026
Frenchy Digital, L.L.C. ("we," "us," "our") advertises its services on third-party platforms, including AI assistants and answer engines. This policy explains where our ads run, the standards we hold our own advertising to, exactly what we measure when you arrive from an ad, and the choices available to you.
This policy supplements — and does not replace — our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions. Where this policy and the Privacy Policy address the same processing, the Privacy Policy governs your legal rights.
1. WHERE OUR ADS APPEAR
We purchase advertising placements on:
- OpenAI Ads — sponsored placements shown inside ChatGPT
- Meta — Facebook and Instagram
- Google — Search, Display, and YouTube
- LinkedIn and other professional or industry networks
Sponsored placements in ChatGPT are labelled by OpenAI and appear separately from the assistant's answer. We do not pay for, and cannot buy, influence over the substance of any AI assistant's response. If an AI assistant recommends us in its own answer, that is not a placement we purchased.
We also operate campaign-specific landing pages (for example, those under /lp/). These are ordinary pages on this Site and are governed by the same policies as the rest of it.
2. OUR ADVERTISING STANDARDS
We hold our own advertising to the following standards, which reflect our obligations under the FTC Act, California advertising law, and the advertising policies of the platforms we buy from, including OpenAI's ad policies:
2.1 Truthfulness and Substantiation
- Our ads and landing pages must be truthful and not misleading, in claim and in overall impression
- We hold substantiation for objective performance claims before publication
- We do not make unfounded claims about outcomes, capability, pricing, timelines, or affiliations
- We do not make comparative claims about identified competitors that we cannot substantiate
- Material terms and limitations are disclosed clearly, not buried in fine print
2.2 Results, Metrics, and Testimonials
Client metrics shown in our advertising and on our landing pages describe the results achieved by specific named or anonymised clients in specific engagements. They are not typical results, not averages, and not a prediction of what your business would achieve. Results depend on your market, budget, existing assets, and execution. We do not guarantee rankings, citations by AI assistants, lead volume, revenue, or any other outcome, and any statement of ours that appears to do so should be read as superseded by this paragraph and by Section 8 of our Terms and Conditions.
Reviews and ratings we cite (including our Clutch rating) are published by the third-party platform named. We do not pay for reviews, offer compensation in exchange for positive reviews, write reviews in a client's name, or suppress unfavourable ones.
2.3 No Affiliation Implied
We reference third-party technologies and platforms — including OpenAI, ChatGPT, Anthropic, Claude, Google, Gemini, Meta, and others — descriptively, to identify the technologies we work with. All such names and marks belong to their respective owners. We are not endorsed by, certified by, partnered with, or otherwise affiliated with those companies unless we state a specific partnership explicitly and by name.
2.4 Categories We Do Not Advertise
We do not run advertising for adult content, dating, gambling or betting, alcohol, tobacco or vaping, illegal drugs, cryptocurrency speculation or token sales, weapons, political or issue advocacy, or any category prohibited by the platform we are buying from. Where we serve clients in regulated sectors such as healthcare or financial services, our advertising for that work complies with the additional eligibility and disclosure requirements those categories carry.
2.5 Audience Standards
Our advertising targets business decision-makers. We do not knowingly direct advertising to children, and we do not build advertising audiences on the basis of sensitive characteristics — including health conditions, race or ethnic origin, religious or philosophical beliefs, sexual orientation, trade union membership, precise geolocation, or biometric data.
3. HOW WE MEASURE ADVERTISING
To know which campaigns work, we measure whether a visit that began with an ad ended in a meaningful action — booking a call, submitting a form, downloading a resource, or purchasing. This is called conversion measurement. It is described here in full.
3.1 OpenAI Ads Measurement Pixel
We operate the OpenAI Ads measurement pixel (the oaiq SDK, loaded from bzrcdn.openai.com) under pixel ID NxVBsgHsRqbwrgjmqNsF3D. Subject to your consent choices, it:
- reads OpenAI's privacy-preserving click identifier (
oppref) from the landing-page URL, and stores it in a first-party cookie named__opprefso it survives across pages of this Site - records page views and conversion events (for example
page_viewed,lead_created,appointment_scheduled,order_created), each with the page URL, a timestamp, and where applicable a transaction amount and currency - transmits those events to OpenAI at
bzr.openai.com
This pixel also runs with OpenAI's automatic advanced matching enabled — a setting OpenAI applies at the pixel level by default. Where enabled, the pixel may automatically detect an identifier you type into a form on this Site, typically an email address, and send it to OpenAI as an irreversibly hashed (SHA-256) value to match your conversion to an ad click. The raw value never leaves your browser, and we receive no identity back from OpenAI as a result. It happens only where you have permitted the Advertisement category.
We additionally send the same conversion events from our own servers through OpenAI's Conversions API, so that measurement remains accurate when a browser blocks scripts. Each conversion carries a single shared event identifier so that the browser report and the server report are recognised as one event rather than two. Server events may include your IP address and browser user-agent, and — where you have given it to us — your email address in irreversibly hashed (SHA-256) form only.
We never transmit raw email addresses, phone numbers, names, or message content to OpenAI.We do not transmit the substance of any enquiry, project, or contract. OpenAI acts as our measurement provider for this data. OpenAI has stated that it does not share individual users' conversations or behavioural profiles with advertisers, and we do not receive them.
3.2 Meta Pixel and Conversions API
We operate the Meta Pixel (ID 410323133371326) and the matching Meta Conversions API on the same basis: event names, page URLs, timestamps, transaction values, Meta's own _fbc and _fbp cookies, IP address, user-agent, and hashed contact details where available. Meta may use this data for measurement and for cross-context behavioural advertising. See Section 5 on your right to opt out.
3.3 Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (G-1WL0RSNCQQ) for traffic analytics and Microsoft Clarity for aggregate usability analysis. Google Analytics runs under Google Consent Mode v2, so your cookie choices are passed through to Google as consent signals rather than being applied only on our side.
3.4 What We Do Not Do
- We do not sell personal information for money
- We do not transmit unhashed contact details to any advertising platform
- We do not transmit the content of your enquiries, documents, or project data to advertising platforms
- We do not use advertising pixels on pages where doing so would reveal sensitive information about you
- We do not attempt to re-identify any privacy-preserving identifier provided by an ad platform
4. CONSENT AND HOW THE GATE WORKS
Advertising and analytics technologies on this Site are gated on your cookie consent choices, collected through our CookieYes consent banner. Specifically:
- The OpenAI Ads pixel and the Meta Pixel run only where the Advertisement category is permitted. Until then, the pixel SDKs are not downloaded at all — not merely silenced.
- Google Analytics runs only where the Analytics category is permitted.
- Our server-side conversion events are gated on the same consent as the browser pixels. We do not report from the server what we would not report from the browser.
- If you withdraw consent, we signal the withdrawal to the relevant platform and stop sending further events.
- If our consent banner fails to load for any reason, advertising and analytics technologies stay off.
Where required by law, the default is that these categories are off until you choose otherwise. In jurisdictions operating on an opt-out basis, the banner reflects that jurisdiction's default and you may opt out at any time.
You can change your choices at any time using the cookie preferences control on this Site. We honour Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals as a valid opt-out of the sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.
5. YOUR CHOICES AND OPT-OUTS
5.1 On This Site
- Adjust or withdraw consent via the cookie preferences control at any time
- Enable Global Privacy Control in your browser
- Email privacy@frenchydigital.com to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information
5.2 California Residents
Our use of advertising pixels may constitute "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising under the CCPA/CPRA, even though we do not sell personal information for money. You have the right to opt out. Refusing the Advertisement category on our cookie banner, or sending a GPC signal, exercises that right. You may also email us. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any privacy right.
5.3 At the Platform
- OpenAI: manage personalisation and data controls in your ChatGPT account settings
- Meta: Settings → Ads → Ad preferences
- Google: myadcenter.google.com and the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on
- Industry tools: the DAA WebChoices tool and the NAI consumer opt-out
5.4 Retention
We retain advertising measurement data for no longer than needed to evaluate campaign performance, and in any case no longer than 24 months, after which it is deleted or aggregated so that it no longer identifies an individual. Data held by the advertising platforms themselves is retained under their own policies, which we do not control.
6. AI-ASSISTED CONTENT
Some content on this Site is drafted with AI assistance and reviewed by our team before publication. Factual and performance claims used in advertising are verified by a human prior to publication. If you believe any claim on this Site or in our advertising is inaccurate, tell us at legal@frenchydigital.com and we will investigate and correct it where warranted.

8. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We update this policy when our advertising or measurement practices change — for example, when we add a platform or a new measurement technology. Material changes are reflected in the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the Site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
