Construction Company Platform

Transparent Contracting is a small construction and renovation contractor with a team of one to ten people. Its owner, Jon Kirchem, had an outdated one-page Wix site. It could introduce the company, but quotes, invoices, signatures and payments all had to happen somewhere other than the website.

For a renovation contractor, the website is where a homeowner decides whether to call. A single page could not show the work, could not separate serious inquiries from casual ones, and could not move a job forward once the client said yes. The brief was a mobile-friendly site that handled payments, invoicing, document signing and project tracking for the contractor's clients, and that sent better leads to the owner.

Frenchy Digital first contacted the owner on LinkedIn. After a kickoff meeting, we moved the business from Wix to WordPress, which gave room for the custom features a one-page builder site could not hold. The work ran from October 2020 to August 2021.

The quiz is the piece that moved the numbers. Instead of a contact form that treats every visitor the same, it asks prospects about their project up front. The owner spends his time on homeowners who are ready to hire, and the people who are not ready learn that before anyone drives to a site visit.

Yasmine led the project as technical project manager, with Chris, Frenchy Digital's founder, and a member of the sales team involved. Communication ran over email and Zoom. The project overlapped with the COVID period, and Frenchy Digital offered a spread-out payment plan so the contractor could fund the build without straining cash flow. The owner called that out specifically in his review. The investment sat in the $10,000 to $49,999 band on Clutch.

The client reported a 20% increase in his closing rate after launch, and said that the leads arriving through the new website were quality leads. Both figures are as reported by the client; we did not have access to his sales records.
